Incase you’re feeling slightly jaded with London Fashion week posts, front row instagram pics, posts and re-posts of FROW instagram pics, smug instagram pics of other people’s unattainable show invites….etc .. we’ve decided to completely change the subject and talk about a T-shirt.
The other day Charlie (Mr Age of Reason) went to see Lady Caroline and Mark Wesley at The Earl of Bedlam to commission a suit to wear at Best of Britannia in October. Being generous types, they threw in a Bee T-shirt for me, which I’m delighted with. I have a thing about bees and EOB T-shirts. In fact, I refuse to own T-shirts that aren’t either Wildfox or Earl of Bedlam because they are the only ones I know of that feel truly decent and are made of beautiful fine cotton or soft viscose blends. They don’t pill, they don’t shrink, and they don’t look crap after 2 washes like every high-street T-shirt I’ve ever owned. So unsurprisingly my t-shirt collection is small but perfectly formed.
EOB created this “God Save the Queen” Bee-T in response to the plight of the bumble bee, who’s dwindling numbers should be of concern to anyone who’s ever eaten a fruit, a vegetable or anything at all. There’s a really good post on their own blog about Mark’s inspiration. READ IT HERE
For maximum Bee exposure, here’s a pic of our Queen Bee scarf. Great minds think alike etc.
