THULANI My name is Thulani Shoko and I am from Zimbabwe which is in Southern Africa. I have been living in the UK for 10 years.
ALI Do you have a passion or vocation in life?
THULANI My passion in life is books I love literature. Currently I’m writing a book and I hope there’ll be plenty to follow it. The book I am working on at the moment is a comedy and has no title as yet. It’s a half fiction half truth book about growing up in Africa and then coming here. In the book I write about the culture shock I experienced when I got here, I mainly compare my school life here and back in Africa. All the characters are inspired by real people. I had to change a few things to avoid being sued!!

THULANI Elegance is confidence. With enough confidence anything is possible.
ALI What do you appreciate most?
THULANI In life I appreciate my freedom of expression the most, whether its by speech or by what I wear.
